Description: Yue, the judge of the Clow cards. He is one of the guardians (together with Kero) of the Clow Cards. He is the judge that decides if the new owner of de clow cards (in this case, Sakura) is fit for the task. He looks a bit scary and doesn't say much or even eat, but he actually is a really nice person who cares for Sakura. Costume: The costume is in very beautiful white and light-blue colors. Also includes large white wings. Made By: Fénicia Made For and first worn at: AnimeCon 2003 Status: I really want to wear this one again, but before I do I'll have to fix some minor problems with this costume first (wig and wings need to be less heavy). |

| 23 Feb 2003 | AnimeCon (day 3) Well not much to say about day 3 (except that I didn't sleep (to much good anime's where shown ^___^ )). I didn't wore the costume on day 3, because it takes me half a hour just to get in it. And another to get out. *mental note to self : do NOT wear Yue costume for more that 6 hours straight* |
| 22 Feb 2003 | AnimeCon (day 2) On day 2 of 3 there was the cosplay competition. I only joined it for fun however. Do bad that nobody said that you'd HAVE to do some kind of act on stage. Else I might have prepared something instead (if you ever find footage, you'll know what I mean ^_^) Well I didn't win anything (how could I even, the other costumes where really good, and some of the other acts where simply fabulous), but I did hear a lot of wooow's and waaaw's and such when I went on the stage. It was really fun however. After the cosplay competition was the photo-shoot. And after that I got out of my costume ASAP. I think my head was literally half-baked by that time ´´^_^`` and also the hair didn't really how anymore by that time. |
| 21 Feb 2003 | AnimeCon - Episode V : Anime Strikes Back (day 1) started !!! It's also the first time that I've worn the complete costume all at once. I can say you, it's darn HEAVY ! At first glance you'd expect the wings to be heavy an annoying, but that actually isn't the case at all. The most annoying part of wearing the costume is definitely the wig. It's really heavy and really warm. I actually used the spare string of the wings to attach my hair to. Since the strings where white, you didn't see it on top of the hair. |

| 26 Nov 2002 | Went to look for a wig that would be long enough. Didn't find one, so we will have to improvise. Together with the owner of the carnival shop we figured out an idea to solve my problem. We will use the wig and the beard from a Merlin costume. And wear the beard backwards and attach it to the wig. To get the extra length, we'll use 2 beards instead of one, and attach them together. |

| 03 Nov 2002 | Decided to make a Yue costume. Originally I was planning to make a Kenshin costume first, because I'm physically more fit for that. But I decided to do a Yue instead. |

One of Merlin's beards that we are going to use to make really long hair. As you can see, even one of them is pretty long. The beard is made from a piece of cloth with all the hairs connected to that. So the hairs/threads aren't actually that long. It will also make it very easy to make the two beards into one. |

This is me wearing the wig and one beard before we did anything to it. As you can see, it's pretty long, even with only one beard. I wonder how it long it will be with both of them together. |

In this picture I'm wearing the wig and one of the beards (backwards, to make hair out of it). You'll notice that it's already pretty long. The picture below shows how it looks from the back. |

This is the result when the two beards are attached to the wig. As you can see, it just hits the ground a bit. All that hair is pretty heavy so it will require extra hair clips (in white so you won't see them) to keep it on my head for more than 20 seconds. Maybe I could cheat a bit and use the middle section of my wings as a support for the middle portion of the hair. |
